Tiles & Survive just received its latest content patch, version 2.5.800, and it lands two of the bigger additions the game has seen this summer: a second season of the Rising Legend competitive event, and a brand-new Hall of Glory where Alliances and Chiefs can see their past achievements preserved for good. FunPlus rolled the update out on August 6, and it's already live for anyone who updates the app.
For a game built around long-term Alliance progress and seasonal resets, both additions speak to the same problem: what happens to everything a Chief and their Alliance built once a season ends? Rising Legend Season 2 gives that competition a fresh, upgraded run, while the Hall of Glory makes sure the first season's wins don't just disappear once the next one starts.
Rising Legend Season 2 Gets a Broader Upgrade
Rising Legend is Tiles & Survive's flagship seasonal event, and FunPlus is framing this second run as a step up rather than a straight repeat. According to the patch notes, the update touches four areas of the event at once: battle experience, social features, how many players can take part, and the Glory Prize reward track itself.
That's a wider net than a typical seasonal refresh, and it suggests FunPlus wants Rising Legend to carry more long-term weight going forward — both as a place to test squads under pressure and as a reason for Alliances to coordinate rather than push solo.
Hall of Glory Preserves Alliance History
The other headline feature is the Hall of Glory, a new archive built specifically to hold onto what Alliances and Chiefs accomplished in past seasons. Rather than letting Rising Legend's records reset into nothing, standout performances now get logged permanently and stay visible. The Hall also doubles as a progression system in its own right: Chiefs can unlock Commander Mastery bonuses through it, giving veteran players another long-term target beyond the current season's leaderboard.
The Rest of Patch 2.5.800
Alongside the two headline additions, update 2.5.800 carries a batch of interface tweaks and quality-of-life fixes:
- Underground Goldmine — revenge records can now be sorted chronologically, from earliest to latest
- Hero Enhancement — the screen now supports swiping left or right to switch between Heroes directly
- Infected Fiends — enemy Power now displays as "Single Troop Power ×5," making difficulty easier to read at a glance
- Doomsday Express — the remaining refresh count now shows below the refresh button
- Behemoth interface — levels above 400 now show their actual value instead of a "400 +" placeholder, the Formation screen matches, and a new preview button lets Chiefs check Exclusive Behemoth visual effects before committing (FunPlus notes these changes are cosmetic only — attributes and progression are unaffected)
None of these fixes are headline material on their own, but they're the kind of friction FunPlus has been chipping away at through several patches this year, alongside earlier additions like the Heliport's auto-gathering Resource Bot.
Update 2.5.800 is a mid-cycle patch rather than a full content chapter, but it sets up the next few weeks clearly: Alliances chasing Rising Legend Season 2's upgraded Glory Prize, with the Hall of Glory now keeping score for the long haul.
