Tiles Survive is a matching game wrapped around a survival run. The first levels teach you almost nothing, and then the difficulty arrives all at once.
Clear from the top of the stack
Tiles are stacked. Removing a tile frees whatever sits above it, but every tile you take from the surface permanently reduces your options. Read the stack before you tap: the tile you need is often buried under two you were about to waste.
Keep your holding slots free
Your slot bar is the real resource. Filling it with tiles that have no pair on the board is how runs end. Before every match, ask whether the third copy is visible somewhere. If it is not, do not pick up the first two.
Save boosters for the walls
Levels fifteen, twenty-five and thirty are difficulty walls. Boosters spent on easy stages are boosters you will not have when you need them. Fail a wall once on purpose to see the layout, then spend on the retry.
Watch the timer, not the tile count
A board that looks nearly clear can still lose if the remaining tiles are stacked badly. Time pressure is what actually fails runs, so open the deep stacks early and leave the easy surface pairs for the end.
Daily rewards compound
The free daily boosters are the difference between clearing a wall and paying to pass it. Logging in matters more here than skill does in the first two weeks.
