Enlisted Beginner's Guide: Squads, Rally Points and Winning Objectives

Enlisted is a squad-based World War II shooter. You control one soldier and command the rest, and every death simply moves you to the next man in the squad. Players who treat it like a normal shooter lose whole squads in seconds.

Your squad is your health bar

When your soldier dies you take over another member of the same squad. When the squad is gone, you switch to your next squad. So the real skill is losing fewer men, not scoring more kills.

Keep your squad behind cover and move in short steps. Never sprint the whole group across open ground.

Rally points win matches

An engineer squad can build a rally point that lets your team spawn near the objective. A well-placed rally point contributes more to a win than any amount of shooting, and it earns you a steady stream of points.

Place it in cover, out of line of sight, and off the obvious path.

Build a balanced roster

Do not level five rifleman squads. A working roster looks like:

• One rifleman squad for numbers
• One engineer squad for rally points and defences
• One assault or machine-gun squad for holding rooms

Objectives, always

The scoring rewards the objective heavily. A player sitting on a hill with kills will finish below a player who captured twice. Move with the team, capture, then defend.

The mistake that ends runs

Charging the objective alone with the full squad behind you. You lose everyone in one burst and hand the enemy the point. Approach from cover, wait for a teammate, then commit.
