Teardown, from Swedish studio Tuxedo Labs, is a heist and sandbox game set in a world made entirely of small blocks called voxels. Unlike most games, where scenery is solid decoration, here everything reacts: walls crumble, wooden structures collapse, vehicles can be driven through buildings and fire spreads realistically.
The campaign follows a small demolition company that gets pulled into increasingly risky jobs. A typical mission gives you several targets to steal or destroy. The moment you touch a protected one, an alarm starts and you have 60 seconds before the police arrive. That turns every level into a two-part challenge: first you calmly prepare the perfect escape route using tools, explosives and vehicles, then you execute your plan as fast as you can.
Because the world is so reactive, the solutions are your own. One player cuts a straight line through three buildings, another builds a bridge of ladders, another uses a crane. Outside the campaign, a sandbox mode and a very active modding community add endless new maps, tools and ideas.
