Lonely Mountains: Downhill, developed by Megagon Industries, is a downhill mountain-biking game with a simple premise: get your bike from the top of a mountain to the bottom. There are no rivals on the track and no music in the way — just your rider, the trail and the sound of wind, gravel and birds.
Each mountain has several trails, and each trail can be approached in many ways. The official path is marked, but the fastest route often means cutting through the forest, dropping off a ledge or taking a risky jump. Checkpoints let you restart quickly after a crash, and a map shows where you fell, which helps you learn each track.
Completing challenges — such as finishing under a certain time or with few crashes — unlocks new bikes, outfits and trails. The low-poly visuals are clean and colourful, and night rides and new mountains add variety. It is a game that rewards practice in the most satisfying way.
