Hidden Folks is an interactive hidden object game created by illustrator Sylvain Tegroeg and developer Adriaan de Jongh. Each level is a large, hand-drawn black-and-white scene — a forest, a city, a desert, a factory — packed with tiny characters, animals and objects going about their business.
At the bottom of the screen you see a list of targets to find, each with a short hint. What makes the game special is how interactive the scenes are: you can open tents, cut bushes, knock on doors, lift curtains or scare birds away to reveal what is hidden behind them. The environments move constantly, which makes searching both challenging and fun.
All the sound effects were recorded with the creators' own voices, giving the game a playful, handmade charm. It is relaxing, suitable for all ages and ideal for playing together, with one person scanning the scene and another holding the mouse.
