eFootball is the free-to-play successor to Konami's long-running Pro Evolution Soccer series. Instead of a new paid game every year, it is a single platform that is updated over time with new seasons, events and player data.
You can jump straight into matches with licensed clubs and national teams, playing against the AI or friends. The main long-term mode lets you build your own team: you obtain players, train them, pick formations and tactics, then take your squad into online divisions and events against other players.
Because the game is free, it is monetised through in-game currency and player packs, some of which give random players. You can progress without spending money, but it is worth knowing before you start. For football fans who want to play on PC without paying upfront, it is an easy game to try.
