Alba: A Wildlife Adventure is a game by ustwo games, the studio behind the Monument Valley puzzle games. You play Alba, who is spending the summer with her grandparents on the fictional Mediterranean island of Pinar del Mar. When she discovers that the island's nature reserve is threatened, she decides to act.
Much of the game revolves around wildlife. With your phone camera, you photograph and identify birds, fish and other animals, filling up your personal guide as you explore beaches, marshes, forests and hills. Along the way you help injured animals, pick up litter, fix broken signs and benches, and gradually convince the villagers to support your campaign.
It is a short game — a few hours — designed to be gentle and uplifting. The island feels lively and warm, and its message about caring for nature and your community is delivered with kindness rather than lectures. It is an excellent choice for families, younger players, or anyone who wants a calm, feel-good adventure.
